After an "All American Breakfast" (mmmmm... bacon) at a cafe near our hotel, we took a cab to Dubbelju in downtown SF. The shop is neat and clean and we were introduced to our ride-to-be: a sleek, silver RT. We had a bit of a problem in that I had thought that the GPS RAM mount would include the arm and back plate for the Garmin GPS, so they made a plan to attach the Zumo for us.

After a ride around the block to get the feeling of the bike, we set off into the SF traffic and headed back towards Fisherman's Wharf. We stopped at Pier 39 for lunch.

We the set a course into the GPS to take us over the Golden Gate Bridge. It was very windy with low, wet fog but the experience of crossing the bridge was still fantastic.

We continued further into the Golden Gate Recreational area and rode some wonderful, twisty but slow roads to the coast and explored the area for an hour or so. I will get the helmet cam mounted today because there is no way to do justice to what we rode through with a photo at the end.

Today we're setting off for Pismo Beach and we are really looking forward to riding Highway 1 along the coast.
