The flight to Atlanta wasn't too bad - we both managed to sleep well on the plane. Passport control and customs was smooth and quick. But the 5 hour connection to SF felt endless. We took a $50 cab ride from the airport to our hotel, checked in and dropped our bags and immediately hit the streets. We're staying in the middle of the Fisherman's Wharf area so there is so much to see and do within walking distance.

We then found a cosy seafront restaurant had what we are sure will be the best meal of the trip, clam chowder, crust home-made bread and a spicy, garlic crab each :)
We got an early night and were up at 5am (2pm at home). About to head for breakfast and then we'll pick up the bike from Dubbelju in Downtown SF.
p.s. I've sent an e-mail to MTN because we are not able to connect the roaming phone to any network, but will keep trying.
